Here are the three healthy salty snacks recipe you should try.
Keto Crackers
When craving chips, it is better to substitute potatoes with low-carb alternatives for a healthy snack. Our keto crackers are crispy, crunchy, salty, and cheesy, enough to satiate your cravings.
All you need is 12 minutes and the following ingredients:
- Almond flour
- Shredded cheese
- Salt
- Pepper
- Water
Add your almond flour and shredded cheese to a food processor and blend the two ingredients into a dough-like consistency. You will need to add water if your dough is dry and crumbling.
Place the dough on parchment paper and place another parchment paper on the dough. Now flatten the dough using a pin roller until it is flat and thin. Use a pizza cutter and cut small square-shaped pieces out.
Line a baking sheet on a baking tray and spread your square-shaped dough pieces out on it. Bake for 10 minutes, flip the crackers over to the other side and bake for another 5 minutes.
Let it cool before eating. It is important not to add salt until the end, as the cheese is already salty enough. You can now sprinkle some pepper and more salt if required.
Zucchini Chips
To make some delicious crispy zucchini chips, you will only need the following three ingredients:
- Zucchini
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Thinly slice your zucchini and pat it dry to remove excess moisture for the ultimate crispiness. Add your zucchini, olive oil, salt, and pepper to a large bowl, and mix well.
Place a baking sheet on the baking tray and place your zucchini on it. Transfer the baking tray to the oven and bake your zucchini chips for 90 minutes or until golden brown. Let the chips cool down, and add more salt and pepper if required.
You can also use an air fryer to make zucchini chips. Make sure to cook it for 12 minutes at 200 C. Serve the zucchini chips with homemade tomato or BBQ sauce.
